Steven Joyce, the Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills and Employment, is responsible for the government's labour market and employment strategy, and the strategic policy framework for social development and employment. He also has responsibility for the Department's knowledge role aimed at improving sector and regional labour market outcomes.
