Department of Labour Graduate Research Sponsorship 2009
This year, the Department of Labour awarded three $5000 research sponsorships to three graduate students.
The first award went to Rebecca Everdon from Otago University for her research “A Behaviour-Based Safety Intervention for New Zealand Truck Drivers”.
The second award went to Derek Riley from Waikato University for his research “Well-Being and Work-Life Integration in New Zealand Organisations”.
And the third award was given to Michael Sloan from Victoria University of Wellington for his research “Geographical mobility and labour adjustment: the role of distance”.
