How do I start an online Expression of Interest?

To start an online Expression of Interest (EOI), you must first register on our homepage for the service.

Once you have registered and then logged in to your personal immigration web page, you will be able to access the online EOI form.

On the left hand side of your web page, under the heading Online Services, click on the link Expression of Interest.

This will open a new window called Assessment Status, which will introduce the EOI process. To start an Online EOI, click on the underlined word Create, which appears in the text, and follow the steps.

If you are experiencing problems starting the online EOI application, or with misbehaving links, please check the internet browser you are using.

We recommend that you use Internet Explorer Version 8 or above when using the Immigration New Zealand online service.

Other internet browsers may produce erratic results when interacting with the online EOI tool.
