All work visa applications are processed according to the date they are received and processing times are available on the website.
However, some applications are quicker to process than others, as they do not require as much verification.
For instance, if the position offered to the applicant meets the criteria for Long Term or Immediate skill shortage, then the immigration officer will not need to complete a Labour Market report, which should reduce the processing time.
In any case, an employer may include a request for prioritised processing when sending in the application. The urgency request must provide reasons and be accompanied by evidence of urgency in order to be considered. The officer will then assess if priority should/can be given to the application.
