All work visa applications are processed according to the date they are received, and processing times are published on the branch pages of your processing office.
However, some applications are quicker to process than others, as they do not require as much verification.
For instance, if the position offered to the applicant meets the criteria for Long Term or Immediate skill shortage, then the immigration officer will not need to complete a Labour Market report, which should reduce the processing time.
In any case, an employer may attach a request when sending in the application, or they may fax the request to the processing office if the application is already in process. The urgency request must explain reasons and show evidence of urgency in order to be considered. The officer will then assess if priority should/can be given to the application.
