Taiwan has been added to the list of countries whose nationals can enter New Zealand as visitors visa-free for up to three months.
Therefore, as long as holders of Taiwan passports meet the visa-free entry requirements (please view Information for Visa Free Visitors for details) they are not required to apply for a visa to visit New Zealand for up to three months.
