My points total is lower in the Expression of Interest than in the Points calculator

The Online Points Indicator is incorrectly issuing additional points for Qualifications if you select YES to BOTH of the following questions:

  1. Do you have a Recognised Qualification (Level 3,4,5,6)
  2. Do you have a Recognised Qualification (Level 7,8,9)

The Indicator will add a total of 90 points for this section when you may only be eligible for:

  • 40 points (Levels 3-6) OR
  • 50 points (Levels 7-9)

The Skilled Migrant policy only allows you to claim points for one qualification in your Expression of Interest, so please only select one option, being the highest recognised qualification you have obtained.

The calculator error is being investigated, and we are hoping to have it resolved as soon as possible.
