Visa application is in India - can I pay for it in New Zealand?

Although this service was previously available, Fees Paid in New Zealand form is no longer in use, so the processing fee can not be submitted within New Zealand.

However the branches in India will accept a Bank Demand Draft which is able to be honoured via a Bank in New Delhi or a U.S bank.

Process for obtaining Bank Demand Drafts

  • You can use any bank in New Zealand to make up the demand draft as long as the demand draft is made out in Indian Rupees or U.S Dollars. If you wish to use an Indian bank, the Bank of India or the Bank of Baroda have branches in New Zealand.
  • You will need two demand drafts, one for the Immigration Process fee and one for the administration fee of the TT service collection agency.
  • The INZ visa application fee should be in either Indian Rupees or U.S Dollars.
  • The TT service fee must be in Indian Rupees (unless the applicant is living in Bangladesh)
  • The Immigration fee demand draft should be made payable to New Zealand Immigration and the TT Services demand draft should be made payable to TT Services.
  • The two demand drafts will need to be sent to the applicant in India who can then submit them with the application to the TT services collection agent.

For more information on the correct fee and where the applicant should be sent to, please use the Office fees finder within our web-site.

Note: A demand draft is not the same type of fee payment as a Bank Draft Cheque. The branches in India will not accept Bank Draft Cheques.
