This factsheet reports key labour market information for older workers for the year to March 2012.  All data is sourced from the Household Labour Force Survey released quarterly by Statistics New Zealand. 

In the year to March 2012, there were 1,054,400 older people (aged 55 years and over), of whom 46.1% were in the labour force while 53.9% were not in the labour force.
